Whew! For someone who NEVER blogs thats quite impressive ( I know... it took me long enough... HA)! There are many more posts to come! I am even planning on going back over the last year and blogging the weddings that never had a post. We have had amazing weddings with fabulous couples & there are also alot of sessions that need to be seen and I can't wait to show them off! So check back soon!

Laine & Dustin

Laine & Dustin were married a couple of weeks ago in my favorite church in Lubbock, First Christian. The church fit Laine so well. Elegant and not at all overdone! When Laine came to meet with me the first time I like her instantly! A graphic designer (and makeup genius)she knew exactly what she wanted, and I was glad because we were on the same page. Dustin was in Iraq (I think) when she met with me so I didn't get a chance to meet him until we shot the engagement session!!!! I knew why these two were together imed. We had a blast and the photos showed it (if you haven't seem them scroll down till you find them), they made my job soooo easy! They laughed, kissed and enjoyed eachother the whole time, all I had to do was shoot! The wedding was no different, everything went way too smoothly! HAHA! It was fun and relaxed and beautiful! This was awedding that I had been looking forward to, and I was definitely no dissapointed! Congratulations you two, I hope you guys had a blast in Jamaica.... yeah like that would be hard to accomplish!!!!! I still think you should have taken your photographer along.... but oh well!

April & Drew

Whoohoo San Antonio! What a great time! I love destination weddings! There is always such a laid back feel to the whole group. Everyone is just there to have a good time and celebrate! And that is exactly what they did! April and Drew were married on May 19th and they were excited, happy and all together very mellow! The smiles say it all. They chose the beautiful Travis Park Methodist church near the river walk and the weather was so perfect! You just can't go wrong in S.A.! The ceremony was beautiful and they were surrounded by wonderful friends and family! And everything went perfectly! I have to say I absolutely love the reception photos, everyone was having such a great time...even Courtney & me! In fact the dancing pics from the line were taken by my lovely assistant! Courtney has been a life saver! (check back on the 24th for a post all about her hahahahahahaha) Congrats you two... it was a true pleasure!

Bar mitzvah TIME!

What a party! Gabriel celebrated his Bar mitzvah in April and what a time! This was my first Bar mitzvah and I LOVED it! I never wanted to dance so much in all my life! I have known the Nathans since my Camera store days! Absolutely my favorite customers! A few years back I ran into Eileen and told her that i was a photographer now, she took my card and said oh good I'll call you in a few years for Gabe's Bar mitzvah. And here is is a few years later and she did just that! I am sooooooooo glad! I loved being with everyone the whole weekend! Family and friends from all across the globe flew in just for Gabe...who can blame him... he's an amazing guy! I have never seen someone his age (or mine for that matter) handle the crowd the way he did (both at the Temple and on the dance floor)! Happy Birthday Gabe! Call me next year..haha!

Alex & Andrew

Also known to their dearest friends (ok only me!) as Scarecrow & Mrs. King! This is such a fabulous couple! Honestly! I have know Andrew for a number of years and with him there has never been a dull moment! He is a brillant film maker (one day he is going to hire me to be the photog on his movie sets!) who has recently graduated from UT Austin's (Hook Em') film school (WHOOHOOO CONGRATS)! He always keeps me in stiches because of the way his mind works.... I love him to death...he was the greatest... well until I met Alex! SHE ROCKS MY WORLD! We had met a couple of times and I knew I liked her, i mean there is noone in the Universe more perfect for Scarecrow, but I didnt know how truely wonderful she is until we met for coffee! 3 hours later I knew we were gonna be tight! I just hate that he moved her away from me!!!! HAHA! I knew when they called me about the wedding it was gonna be a doozie...and I was not dissapointed at all! I mean how many girls in West Texas get married in a Castle built just for them! NO REALLY! Alex told her dad she wanted to be married in a Castle.... so he built one! It was such a great time...even at the bachelor/bachlorette party Friday night... trust me there are some GREAT photos of that...haha! Thanks you guys for including me in such amazing celelbration of love! Enjoy Europe....my offer still stands to be the roaming photographer!

Jennifer & Jason

OH WOW! Talk about being behind! I have needed to blog these for two months! I am such a slacker!! Actually if you know me than you know life has been a little trying but as usual God has and is pulling us through... whew! Anyway enough about me...

Jennifer & Jason were married on April 7th (During a snow storm..HA!)here is Lubbock! They were a hoot! I have known Jennfier for a number of years and she has always been fun, happy and so easy to get along with. Well she met her perfect match! Jason was great as well. They were ecstatic, silly, crazy...all my favorite qualities. This was such a great day... but I was a bit upset...this is my LAST Davis wedding...well for about 20 years anyway!!! HA! Congrats guys it was such a blessing to watch you laugh together!
