Michelle & Kris

I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing Michelle & Kris a couple of weeks ago. We scheduled a mini-session, while Kris was home visiting. Michelle & Kris will be getting married in Lubbock this May, and Daniel & I are so honored to be a part of it. I had so much fun with these guys, I love the way they look at each other and they are so precious together!!! An added plus is it is impossible to take a bad picture of them! I only have one worry for them during their marriage... I hope he can make her laugh& smile once and a while! Thanks you guys for such a fantastic session... can't wait for the next one!

A very special thanks to our dear friend Candy Thames for allowing us to bombard her at her amazing home! You're the best!!!!

Kara & Jason

Kara and Jason will be getting married this summer in Perryton Texas. We had a great time a couple of weeks ago shooting their engagement. They are so fun and Jason has no trouble making Kara laugh. I loved getting to use this time to get to know them so well before the wedding. We were even able to kick some Tech alumni football players off the field (non-intentionally... ofcourse). We owe special thanks to Hud whos keys got us into Jones
Stadium and who was a wonderful photography assistant... you rock!
Thanks Guys I had a BLAST!!!

I did it!!!

So for a long long long time I have been working ( I use that term very loosely) on a website. Over the past two and a half years I have talked to many many "web designers" and friends who thought they could help me. But how do you help the hopeless hummmm? Well after many hurdles I dropped off my CD of the images I want in the galleries on my website and gave the dude the green light! Whoo hoo! I know that it wont long and I will have a real website! I am so pumped (pumped enough to actually post on this blog!) and ready to roll. Stay tuned soon tonidaniel.com will not just be a proofing gallery but a functioning sweet flash website. Watch out 21st century I have arrive. Now if I could just get the hang of my stupid Palm Pilot...naw I'll save that for next year!

PS Condo is doing fabulous... he is such a two year old always into to stuff! We are loving him! More photos to come

Condo comes HOME!!!!!!!

After a month and a half of waiting... our boy is home! El Conde (Condo) arrived at 11:30pm Tues night. He is so much more that we could ever imagine. He's two and he acts like it. He has already heisted a doggie cookie off the kitchen counter, and he tears through the house throwing his "stuffies" in the air! We love it! Patience often looks at him like he has lost his mind, but she is so much happier now that he's here. Daniel and I could just spend all day watching our babies. It is so great to hear the pitter patter of four more little feet, even if he does insist that everyone be up and awake at 6:05 am (I think that is when Patience liked him the least). None the less he is home and our family is a bit more complete. We will never forget our precious Permaguard (and Condo is nothing like him), but there is no longer and empty pillow that needs a dog. And Patience has a walking chew toy again. There is constant laughter as we watch Condo discovering his new home. Thanks Teddy, you must have been wonderful to him... we have never met a happier kido!!!!!

Quality time with Pops!

Momma's Boy!!!

Tearin' up the "stuffie"!!!!

See me.... I got it!

I LOVE my new yard!

Patience has learned the importance of eating her cookie as soon as she gets it. Condo has tried to help her eat it a time or two... funny since that is the same thing she use to do to Perm.

The view below!!!

What a precious face...don't ya think!

That's good grub.

Loving eyes.

Look out... happy dog coming through!

He discovered the bird feeder out the front window... now it one of his fav pasttimes.

Resting beside mom's desk... so he'll have energy to drive Patience bananas!

Hey Patience... you see that Cat?

Patience stole Condo's pillow... she was a little peaved about being up so early!

No worries... Patience's pillow is just as comfortable.

It's a dog's life.

Home made cookie time! I finally made some doggie cookies from the Doggie cook book Daniel got me for my birthday...now everytime the oven time goes off two greyhounds run to the kitchen. I tasted one... I don't know what they are so excited about!

Cookie Cookie!!!

BEWARE!!! Vicious dog!

Every morning Patience has to take her arthritis medicine. The easiest way we have found is to grind it up in can dog food. Ofcourse Condo gets a little as well... I think this is his fav part of living here.

And now... with a full tummy... he sleeps!

SOAP BOX TIME: 3 and 1/2 years ago I when I met my wonderful husband, he had two of the funniest looking dogs I had ever seen... Greyhounds. Skinny heads and bodies were new to this Great Dane loving gal. Now I can never look back. I have had dogs all my life but a Greyhound is on a level all their own. If you are considering bringing a dog into your home, please research adopting a Greyhound. The fact that they can go from racer lives to fabulous pets is amazing to me. They are truely the most loving animals you can find. You won't be sorry. Teddy and her gang are wonderful http://www.halfwayhomegreyhounds.com/ . There are many adoption angels on there and I'm sure there is one near you! (Ok stepping down off the soap box)

Permaguard... yep that was his name. This wonderful creature (in his natural sleeping position) was a blessed part of our lives. Novemeber 28, 2005 we had to lay him to rest. It was the hardest thing I have evry had to do! To have such and amazing baby ans have to let him go. He brought laughter and love, and our entire family has missed him so much. Especially his companion Patience. I know it has been a long time ans I should have given him tribute before, but it tears my heart out everytime I realize I will never hold him again. God please hold my baby for me. He had a very wonderful life after the first two years. This retired racer became the best couch potatoe you will ever know. I'd like to think that hes was justifiablely spoiled! If you knew him you were blessed and if not just take our word for it! We miss you baby... we love you forever!

Her we go......

So here we go... posting! Oh how great it is to have a place to rant... haha! I have become addicted to reading blogs of friends and colleges so I thought what the hey I should do this too. I love the idea of being able to share the photos that no one ever sees. The stuff I randomly shoot, just because. I'll start with the little sis and Trixy. She's gonna kill me.

They say dogs look like their owners... look they have the same hair early in the morning. I love you sis!
